Do you measure up?

What im about to say will initially shock many but as you read the scriptures below you will see exactly what im saying and how profound this is.

When Jesus comes back and takes his people home their will be people in heaven who found Jesus through repentance who struggled with prostitution, theft, adultery, lust, gluttony, dishonesty, hate, drugs, alcohol etc but there WONT be one self righteous person who may have gained the favor of men on this earth reach heaven no matter how much they tithed, prayed, went to church, wore a suit and tie, kept the Sabbath, followed the health laws, received institutional degrees or held status in the church.

Many religous people will be lost in the last days because they will mistreat and shame others based on institutional righteousness instead of Christ Righteousness. They will create standards that inwardly they havent lived up too yet cast judgement on others when they found out they fallen short. They will deem righteousness based on their outward works instead of their inward/outward piety and repentance. They will see no need to repent because they will believe the praise of men and their misleading standards is what God cares about. Heres what Jesus says below.

“To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ 14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Luke 18:9-14
